The story so far
Pastor | Commissioner Albert L. Polk IV is a native son of South Bay, Florida, whose service bridges the Church, Community, and City. He serves as Senior Pastor of Miracle By Faith Revival Center, a City Commissioner in South Bay, and host of the Gospel in the Glades Morning Show on WSWN 900 AM / 107.1 FM.
A servant leader, he moves between the pulpit, public service, and broadcasting with a commitment to strengthening the community that helped shape him.
Pastor Polk has served in pastoral ministry since 2015 and became Senior Pastor of Miracle By Faith Revival Center in 2020 — the church that was part of his spiritual foundation from childhood.
His service extends beyond the church. As a City Commissioner in South Bay, he works in public service while remaining actively involved in community outreach and engagement throughout the Glades.
Pastor Polk is also an experienced radio broadcaster and host of the Gospel in the Glades Morning Show, keeping the Glades informed, inspired, and connected every weekday morning.

Journey
Milestones in ministry and service
Calling
Answered the call to preach in 2010, beginning a life of service rooted in faith, people, and community. Since then, he has served as Master of Ceremonies for more than 300 events and services, including funerals, gospel concerts, church gatherings, and community occasions throughout the region.
Pastorate
Ordained as a pastor on March 22, 2015, at Miracle Temple Ministries in Belle Glade. In 2020, he became Senior Pastor of Miracle By Faith Revival Center, the church where he was raised. Under his leadership, the ministry has completed nearly $100,000 in facility renovations while continuing its commitment to serving people both inside and outside the church.
Airwaves
His journey in radio began in 2008, and the airwaves have remained an important part of his ministry and community service ever since. When gospel programming was removed from WSWN in 2016, he worked to help keep the music and message alive, securing a dedicated gospel block in 2017 and witnessing the station's full gospel format return in 2018.
In 2020, the Gospel in the Glades Morning Show was relaunched under its current name and has grown into a trusted source for education, information, inspiration, and local connection. Today, the program reaches listeners throughout 18 South Florida counties, the Bahamas, and worldwide online. Across 18 years in broadcasting, he has twice been recognized as the SFGMA #1 Gospel Radio Announcer of the Year, receiving the honor in 2011 and 2016.
Public Office
Elected City Commissioner on March 22, 2023, he entered public office with a commitment to be accessible, accountable, and active. During his service, he has worked to fulfill the commitments made to residents, including helping secure more than $5 million toward major road reconstruction and advocating for improvements throughout the city.
His public service has also included involvement in the passage of Senate Bills 10 and 90 and the founding of South Bay's historic 30-Day Black History Exhibition. The initiative welcomed more than 600 attendees, brought visitors to South Bay, and helped showcase the history and people of the community. His work was recognized nationally with the National League of Cities' Under 40 Impact Award.
Through the pulpit, airwaves, and public service, his mission remains the same: serve people, strengthen community, and use every platform to make a difference.
